Primary Care
At ARTC we offer comprehensive medical care to all patients. We are comitted to the health and well-being of our patients. We will treat you when you’re sick, and help you manage ongoing medical problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes or asthma, and provide the care you need to stay well. We offer care for all our patients’ needs at each of our convenient locations. And if you need specialist care, we will refer you to a specialist.
HIV/AIDS Care
Comprehensive HIV/AIDS primary medical treatment and evaluations are offered to all HIV-positive patients. Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurses, who specialize in HIV treatment, extend the care. Our goals are to stage the disease for prognostic and treatment purposes and to identify opportunistic infections and other HIV related conditions. In addition, a full range of services including case management and health counseling are provided on-site and through referral linkages.
Clinical services provided on-site include:
- HIV Testing and Counseling
- Initial and annual comprehensive medical examinations
- On-going clinical HIV disease monitoring
- HIV-specific therapies and prophylactic management
- Medical Case Management
- Substance abuse assessment
Nutritional Services and Educational Activities
At ARTC we aim to foster good nutrition, health education, and programs that address nutrition or health promotion. While members of the medical team are involved on a one-to-one basis in patient educational activities we promote group educational sessions covering various health issues and nutritional counseling.
